You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

4.2 Contributor Content

Content submitted by third-party contributors is provided under license to The Energy Academy. Contributors represent and warrant that they have the rights to submit their content and that it does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights. We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of contributor-submitted content.

4.3 User-Generated Content

By submitting any content to the Platform, including profile information, notes, or comments, you grant The Energy Academy a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the operation of the Platform. You retain ownership of your content and may remove it at any time by deleting your account or the relevant content.

4.4 DMCA / Copyright Complaints

If you believe that content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please send a notice to Info@TheEnergy.Academy with the following: (1) a description of the copyrighted work, (2) the URL where the infringing content appears, (3) your contact information, and (4) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized. We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

The Platform includes advertising placements from third-party sponsors. All paid placements are labeled as advertising. The Energy Academy does not endorse the products or services of advertisers and is not responsible for the accuracy of advertiser claims. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater. Because the Platform is currently provided free of charge, this limit will typically be $100.
